Renewal Leave Day:7 - 5:58 Am
Gathering in Spirit
It's Sunday! Normally I'm up at this time readying myself for worship in but a few hours. I know the routine well (and the 40 minute drive). But today things are different. I shant be with you but am present in spirit. Praying that worship is Spirit led, Terry's message is powerful and easy to apply to your life as he feeds you as the great pastor I know him to be.
Old habit die slowly. I guess that's why you all are on my mind this morning. From today's morning devotional from D365.org we find this...
As together we strive to deepen our relationship with God through this renewal time, it serves us well to take Ms. Grover's words to heart here. We must pay attention to the signs and circumstances as the come our way. God uses so many avenues to direct us and if we choose not to listen, pray, read scripture, and remember we are in process and have NOT arrived yet- if we fail to do these things, how can we possibly follow where God is leading us. And if we don't follow, where are we? Lost in the journey I'm afraid. When lost we panic, question, doubt, and fear so much as our minds race and every shred of peace and contentment is chased from us in the process. So as you gather to worship, or even right now - stop, look, read, remember, and most of all, listen for that sweet, still small voice calling unto you to come home.
Blessings my friends! Find that center, that peace, that we can only know when we answer the calling and come home to God! Welcome home! Diane and I are off to Arizona for some R&R.
Love, in Christ - your pastor, brother, and friend.
See you on the journey my friends - PJ.
